Garlic Steak Marinade Recipes :

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 c. 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Steaks

  • 1 ½ lb of steaks, 2 to 4 steaks (I love sirloin, ribs or cut New York steaks!)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients except the steak.
  2. Add the steaks to a resealable zipper bag or large bowl and pour the marinade over the top of the steak. Squeeze as much air into the bag as possible and seal.
  3. Leave to marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. To make steaks in the pan: lower the heat to high and allow to preheat for a few minutes until the pan is hot. Place the steaks in the pan. Cook each side for 3 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-high. Cook steaks to desired doneness, turning over as needed. It will take about 10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the steaks. I prefer mine to be around 145 degrees, which is average.
  5. To make steaks on the grill. Preheat grill to medium-high. Place the steaks on the grill. Cook 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches at least 145 degrees F for medium.
  6. Let the steaks rest for 3 minutes before serving.
