Slow Cooker Baby Carrots with Honey and Brown Sugar Recipe :
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 pounds baby carrots, rinsed
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into 4 – 6 pieces
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: fresh dill (chopped)
Instructions
- Pour the water into the bottom of the slow cooker. Add carrots. Top carrots with brown sugar, honey, and salt. Place butter pieces on top of all ingredients.
- Cover slow cooker with lid and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours, stirring after 2 hours.
- Spoon carrots into a bowl or serving platter. If desired, sprinkle with dill.
Notes
–Chopped Italian parsley can be substituted for the dill for a garnish.
